DESTINATION IN THE EVEREST REGION CAN BE THE CHALLANGING BECAUSE OF THE ALTITUDE

Trekking in the Everest region can be the most challenging because of the high altitude. However this is a spectacular, 'mystical' region and home of the world's highest peak (Sagarmatha 8848m). Despite the high altitude, there is a great variety of flora and fauna with many species of plants that bloom during the rainy season. The best time to trek in this region is when the weather is at its best, from October to November and from March to May, when the beauty of wild flowers and the ubiquitous rhododendrons are in full bloom. This region is also a habitat for many animals; Snow leopard, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, mountain fox and yak are among the major wild animals. Along with the plants and animals, this region has numerous species of birds and reptiles.
