The attractiveness of this place or the entire trekking has been extolled by every travelers who have completed the journey. In its geographical point, Langtang is the nearest Himalayan Region that lies 130km north of Kathmandu valley. It is ranked third in Nepal's popular trekking destination towering just behind Annapurna and Everest region. Langtang Region is perfectly appropriate for those seeking a slightly less crowded area as well as travelers with limited time. This area contains three different and major routes namely, Langtang, Gosaikunda and Helambu. The whole Langtang region comprises of splendid places to holy places like Gosaikunda.
Allowing a wide spectrum of vegetation types, Langtang Region offers Oaks, Chirpine, Maple, Fir, Hemlock spruce and various species of Rhododendron. Wild dog, red panda, pika, musk deer, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan thar, ghoral, serow, rhesus monkey and common langur are some of the inhabitants that can be spotted here. In this region, trekkers get a chance to give a glance to the unspoiled culture of Tamang, Sherpa and Tibetan community.
There normally are alternative routes and if the journey is to be initiated from Dhunche, one can reach there via vehicle and that's when the journey gets started. The beginning route follows a normal landscape which makes it easier to walk. Later the trail follows rushing Langtang River through cool pine forests. As the trekking moves ahead, one encounters with small settlements like Lama Hotel, Rimchey that caters mainly to trekkers. At the board flat meadow of Ghora Tabela, the landscape begins its transformation to higher altitudes. Throughout the journey, people selling the local ornaments, handmade mufflers and other varieties can be seen. The place is noticed to be influenced by the Tibetans. Many of the inhabitants residing here are Tibetan refugees.
As the country is blessed with good grasslands it's very convenient for local yak herds. In each step one takes, nature will startle them with its beauty. The trail passes through the small village of Langtang, where many of the inhabitants can be seen churning rich yak milk into butter and a destination ahead is KyanjinGompa which also is the last permanent settlement in the Valley. There is a small monastery, a cheese factory and amazingly built lodges. Kyanjin makes a good base for further exploration of the upper Langtang Valley. There is a giant view point from where the overall view of the ridged peaks can be seen, the valley looks eyegasmic. Most of the people take the opportunity to explore the heaven from viewpoint (4,984m) which is almost three hours walk from the base of Kyanjin. Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lhakpa and Phurbi Chyanchucircle the Kyanjin valley and anyone making up to that place breathes the nature for sure.

Day 02: - A full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, the capital valley
Day 03: - Kathmandu drive to Syabru Bensi (1550m/5100ft) 7-8 hours drive
Day 04: - Syabru Bensi trek to Lama Hotel (2450m): walking distance 6-7 hours, 1070m ascent - 10.9 km
Day 05: - Lama Hotel trek to Langtang Village (3430m): walking distance 4-5 hours, 980m ascent - 14.8 km
Day 06: - Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3870m): walking distance 2-3 hours, 460m ascent - 6.8 km
Day 07: - Acclimatization day in Kyanjin Gompa (3870m)
Day 08: - Trekking back to Lama Hotel (2450m): walking distance 6 hours, 1430m descent - 21.6 km
Day 09: - Lama Hotel trek to Big Syabru Bensi (2230m): walking distance 6-7 hours - 13.1 km
Day 10: - Big Syabru Bensi to Sing Gompa (3330m): walking distance 3-4 hours, 1040m ascent - 6.8 km
Day 11: - Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda Lake (4460m): walking distance 4-6 hours, 1130 m ascent - 11.2 km
Day 12: - Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3440m): walking distance 6-8 hours, 300m ascent and 1320m descent
Day 13: - Ghopte to Tharepati (3510m): walking distance 1-2 hours, 330m ascent
Day 14: - Tharepati trekking to Melamchi (2560m): walking distance 4-5 hours
Day 15: - Melamchi to Tarke Ghyang (2590m): walking distance 5-6 hours
Day 16: - Tarkegyang to Sermathang (2610m): walking distance 5-6 hours
Day 17: - Sermathang to Melamchi Bazaar and drive back to Kathmandu: walking distance 4-5 hours and 3-4 hours drive
Day 18: - Farewell Departure
UPER BODY LAYERS
Walking t-shirt -2 merino wool, capilene or synthetic fabric over cotton t-shirt which is quick dry.
Sleeping t-shirt -1 it is can be cotton
Thermal base layers top -1mid weight long sleeved t-shirt of merino wool or polyester ,capilene or polartec power dry
Insulating layers -1mid wight fleece that can be worm over other layers
Fleece vest optional -advisable for those who feel cold
Rain jacket -1 essential
Down jacket -1 essential its very cold up high or depend how high are you going.
LOWER BODY LAYERS
Underwear - enough for trek (notice you can wash along them along the way)
Hiking trousers -2 quick dry and light wight trousers no cotton but zip offs are good.
Sleeping trousers 1 light wight yoga style evening sleeping but no jeans.
Trekking shorts -1 if no zips off trousers . below the knee for ladies.
Rain pants -1 advisable
Thermal long johns 1 for evening or sleeping.
Duffle bag pack 1 to store excess luggage in at hotel. but SHTT provides duffel bags for the duration of trek these are easier for the potters to cary.
Day pack with rain cover -1for cary your personal items during the treks eg camera and chocolate water.
Sleeping bags -1 3season (4season oct-feb).
Compression stuff sack -1 for sleeping bags.
Trekking boots -1 must be well worm and comfortable with ankle support.
Socks -3 good and worm enough
Flip flops or camp shoes-1 light wight for evening use.
Water bottles -2 one or two liters nalgene or sig style or a bladder as you like.
Water purification drops -1 it is cheep and easy to buy in kathmandu (piyous).
Lip balm -1 with SPF factors.
Sunglass -1 essential good uv protection.
Suncream we recommend SPF 30 greater.
Bandana -1 this useful for a variety of purposes.
Baseball head (cap) it is useful for sun during the hiking.
Worm woolen head -1 it is very useful evening and morning when we hike above the 3500m.
Flash light or head torch -1head light is best as it leaves your hand free and extra batteries.
Personal first aid kit -1 include any prescribed medication (should be your all personal medication).
Travel towel -1 light wight and compact.
Wash kit -1 travel itms for the trek.
Instant hand sanitizer -enough for trek and alcohol based for keeping your hand clean.
Camera with charge and enough batteries for your treks

Toilet roll and rubbish bag it is very important we don’t leave rubbish in mountain.
