Rolwaling is one of the finest treks in eastern Nepal. Many ethnic, Sherpa villages are visited before we reach the hidden yet majestic steep sided, Rolwaling valley locked in by astonishingly beautiful fluted ice peaks on every side.
Trekking through this region provides an opportunity to experience mountainous views and a diversity of flora and fauna and local cultures.
The trail crosses over the Tashi Lapacha pass (5755m) and reaches Thame - Tensing Norgay's home town in the Khumbu valley. We pass through the Dolakha and Ramechhap districts on this trek. This is an area well known for its many temples and monasteries. The trails of this region pass beautiful waterfalls and Tso Rolpa lake. The views of Gaurishankar (7145m), Melungtse (7,181m), the villages of Beding, and Na (4183m) are some of the major attractions of this region.
