Kopra Ridge is one of the best destination for short trekking in Nepal with panoramic view of intimate relationship between community people and nature of that region. People who love to take every sip of nature's beauty and want to have a glance over the nature's activity by closer; this trek to Kopra Ridge is the best destination. This trek contains all of the components of a classic Nepali trekking experience including villages, society people, their tradition, wildlife, panoramic mountain views and range of landscape from forest to high alpine.
Kopra Ridge trek is situated far from the busier trails of Annapurna region of Nepal and you will be staying in community lodges for eight nights for itinerary where you will be provided an opportunity to co-operate with the social environment of the Kopra Ridge. Kopra Ridge provides an amazing scene of mountains as well as dense forests and views of mountain includes Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fang and Nilgiri.Then, we can either move towards Tatopani for having a natural hot spring bath or we can lead towards Ghandruk from where we can see Mount Machhapuchhre (also known as Fishtail) and Mount Hiunchuli.
We start the trip by taking the spectacular flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara where you will get views of the Himalayan Mountains. For the first two days of the trek we follow the popular trails of the Annapurna foothills passing through terraced fields, rhododendron forests and Gurung villages such as Ghandruk. After Tadapani we leave the main trail and for the next five days we walk along a remote trail while staying at the community lodges. We reach our high point at Kopra lodge at 3,660m where it is well worth getting up early before breakfast to see the sunrise across the panorama of Himalayan peaks.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Altitude (1,350m)
After the arrival of you're at Tribhuwan International Airport, our customer receiving member will greet with attractive preparations and will drive you up to the booked hotel from the means of your comfort. If your arrival is accurate as planned then, we will also take you to well-hygienic restaurant along with opportunity to take a short glimpse over the taste of foods, entertaining dances, etc. of different ethnic castes of Nepal and if the arrival is late then we may do this in next day. Next day morning, you will be taken to the head office and you will be told about your trekking routes, activities, destinations and their time periods briefly. Then, we will introduce you to your trekking guide.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,350m)
in day second , you will taken to a full day tour of Kathmandu city after your breakfast where you will be briefly told about each destination centers like about their history, area, founder, time of establishment, etc. and also your extra curiosities on certain sectors by trekking guide. You will be taken to places that are included in world heritage sites by UNESCO like Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, etc. After finishing the city tour, we will meet again to check your clothing and trekking equipment (sleeping bag, jacket and trekking boots). We will actually be spending nights also in Kathmandu
Day 03: Fly to Pokhara, drive to Syauli Bazaar and trek to Ghandruk: 30 mins flight, 2 hours drive and 3 hours trek
In our third day of the visit, we fly to Pokhara early in the morning to catch the majestic views of the mountains. Also known as the heaven for tourism in Nepal, this beautiful city is something that you would want to miss in your trip to Nepal. After our arrival in Pokhara, we will drive to Syauli Bazaar which is another remarkable feat of natural resources in itself. Overnight in Ghandruk.
Day 04: Ghandruk to Tadapani (2,590m/8,497ft) 3-4 hours
Ghandruk offers its visitors with wonderful views of majestic mountains that you can seldom witness in any other place, which includes mountains like Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. After that we will march through a forest full of rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal. Overnight in Tadapani.
Day 05: Tadapani to Dobato (3,350m/10,990ft): 4-5 hours
This is the moment in our trek where we start going off road to more rural places, for like the next 6 days. So, you will be able to witness the local culture and tradition from a greater depth and perspective and also, a greater variety of flora and fauna in our trail. Overnight in Dobato.
Day 06: Dobato to Upper Chistibung (2,975m/3,198ft) 4-5 hours
Chistibung will be waiting for us this day the moment we wake up, and after having breakfast, we embark on the day’s journey towards our destination via thick pastures, grasslands and forests. You might just be lucky enough to witness the Himalayan Lophophorus (called Danphe in Nepali), which is also the National bird of Nepal and has a majestic beauty.
Day 07: Trek to Khopra Ridge (3,660m/12007): 3-4 hours
Today, we will move to Khopra, for a walk of around 4 hours. We will go for a short walk upto Khopra ridge after reaching Khopra which will provide us with a viewpoint that cannot be explained in mere words. Overnight in Khopra.
Day 08: Rest day in Khopra Ridge: Tour of Kaire Lake (4,500m/14,763ft): 10-11 hours
Today, we will take a rest here in Khopra admiring the natural beauty and cultural diversity this wonderful place has to offer. We will also have a day tour to Kaire lake which has high cultural significance in both Hindu and Buddhist religion. It is believed that bathing in the lake will help one attain Nirvana. Overnight in Khopra Ridge.
Day 09: Trek to Swanta Village (2,200m/7,217ft): 5-6 hours
After a day’s rest, we will now move early in the morning towards Swanta Village for maximum of 7 hours descending downhill on a steep trail. We will be graced by majestic views of various mountains along the way as well. Overnight in Swanta village.
Day 10: Trek to Ulleri (2,050 m/6,725 ft): 5-6 hours
Today we will move towards Ulleri, crossing various other villages on our path, village with their own intrinsic cultural and historical beauty. We will move to Chittre and to Ulleri from there. Overnight at Ulleri.
Day 11: Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 5-6 hours trek, 1 hour drive
Today we trudge to Nayapul for five hours enjoying the amazing hill landscape of the local places and also, some Himalayan ranges as well. This would be a fun and light walk with not much pressure. From Nayapul, we will drive to Pokhara where we will rest for the day. We can also travel Pokhara since it is a famous city for night travel amongst tourists. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 12: Sightseeing in Pokhara then fly to Kathmandu
We will travel to various wonderful places of this beautiful city today, but one day would be honestly not be enough for you to fully grasp what this city has to offer in terms of religious, cultural and natural beauty. But, still we will travel as much it is humanly possible to do, and then we will leave to Kathmandu by flight in late evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 13: Departure
Our office representatives will escort you to the airport for your connecting flight home. It's been wonderful meeting you & knowing you all of these weeks. Duffle bag pack 1 to store excess luggage in at hotel. but SHTT provides duffel bags for the duration of trek these are easier for the potters to cary.

Bandana -1 this useful for a variety of purposes.
Baseball head (cap) it is useful for sun during the hiking.
Worm woolen head -1 it is very useful evening and morning when we hike above the 3500m.
Flash light or head torch -1head light is best as it leaves your hand free and extra batteries.
Personal first aid kit -1 include any prescribed medication (should be your all personal medication).
Travel towel -1 light wight and compact.
